Sketching, sketching and more sketching

Life drawing is incredibly important for every artist, and while working on my other projects I also kept a sketchbook with me at all times so I could fit in life drawing as well. It really helped keep my skills up so I wouldn't forget how to draw things, and also served as inspiration for things like backgrounds and designs when I really needed them!

This is just a sample of all the work I did in my sketchbook, which includes animals, people, environments, vehicles and more!

Week 2 of the weekly challenges!! This time I was given a list of words and had to draw 12 drawings of each thing (6 with reference, 6 without). This was definitely a good exercise because it forced me to be more creative with my ideas, especially considering how mundane these subjects were. I was trying so hard not to repeat the same imagine over and over again that I had to come up with creative new ways to draw things!
